Wikileaks, good or bad?

For a couple of weeks ago Wikileaks released declassified documents from various government in the world. These documents have shocked the whole world. The question is are they positive or negative to leak such documents? You can see it from both sides. For empires, it is not very good. War may arise and collaborative difficulties may arise between countries. Examples that were not so good that they came out was that Clintion were encouraged to spy on other countries and that Saudi Arabia wanted the United States were to attack Iran. There may be conflicts. Something I was interested to read was how much bullshit is being said behind closed doors. U.S. government throws dirt the other countries. Things that are completely irrelevant. Why not focus on anything else. I think it was good that it came out because they have no right to say such things. U.S. to blame themselves that they have come under fire. Maybe this can bring the Countries togheter. Instead of focusing on chasing Assange as start and Wikileaks to stop him. Should they focus on the jobs they are chosen to do instead of engaging in bullshit.

Christmas coming up

Christmas is approaching, and there is much that needs to be fixed. Christmas trees, food, Christmas gifts and Christmas decorations and these are just some of the things that must be done before Christmas Eve.

I love Christmas, it is the best holiday of the year. Then we gather all the family and relatives to eat and just hang out. But the charm of Christmas is lost more and more. The kids are getting more and more spoiled. Should have more expensive and more Christmas presents for each year. It has gone to such excesses that some parents feel such pressure into Christmas that almost goes into the wall. And many parents have not even afford Christmas presents. Christmas presents have destroyed the Christmas’s meaning. I am a Christian but not believing Christian and I do not care that we do not think of jesus birth and the whole thing but I think we should celebrate the family. In our family instead of buying Christmas presents for each other, or one could say, change money, we donate each year to an organization. This is something I think more people should do. We should focus on the family. They are the meaning of the life

mudslinging in television

Right now, the elections is going on in America and here in Los Angeles. And every time I turn on the TV I get to laugh when they mudslinging on each toher in the commercials. Especially when they criticize Meg Whitman. I’m not very familiar with her policies or her previous life so I can’t say anything about that. The funny part is that the mudslinging on each other in the commercial. But that don’t make themselves looks better, quite the contrary. I would think it was okay in a debate or anything but throw dirt on eachother in that way in advertising in the breaks when I watch gossip girl is ridiculous. You won’t take it seriously. In Sweden, this would never occur maybe that’s why it feels so unnatural for me. Advertising on television is not considered serious. So I do not get how you would like to be associated with it if you are a politican. Commercials on tv is just for stupid people who don’t get that, just that shampoo want get your hair look shinier. Or is it just me who things this is stupid and don’t get the point. Why don’t they make themselves look better without insteed of make someone else look bad?

Halloween is coming up, and hysteria has been going on for weeks. Everywhere you go you see signs with the halloween team, foods with halloween team, clothing with halloween team ect. What is so special about Halloween? Isn’t it just another way for businesses and shops to earn even more money from us. What’s up with all these fake days. We have not only Halloween, but Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Valentine’s Day and this isn’t all of them. Idon’t know any another country who takes this as seriously as America does.

As soon as I turn on the TV I see kitkat that advertise Halloween candy to give away to those who come knocking on the door. Businesses’ is not stupid to take advantage of these days. It is we who are stupid going on it. Why should I buy kitkat just because it has halloween team on the package? It’s still tastes just as disgusting as it did before. But they trick are eyes to make it look diffrent and more fun. Ofcourse we’ll buy it. I do.

As early as tomorrow I’m going to buy  a Halloween costume. But why? Party is not funnier just because I’m dressed as a sausage. Or? No, it’s still the same old party with the same old people and same old music. So maybe we’ll skip Halloween this year and do someting else for a change.

The Social Network

For a couple of weeks ago, “The social network” premiered in United States. A movie about how Facebook was founded. Since facebook is currently used by millions worldwide, this movie couldn’t be anything else but a success. And I think the producer  felt that when he did the movie because otherwise they had never done such a horrible movie. Because they probably knew that anyone who uses facbook will probably see it. Is this a movie that only made to make money? Because you can read how Mark Zuckerberg founded Facebook and don’t need to go and see it in cinemas.

When I settled down in the theater on opening night, I had really high expectations. I had been waiting for this movie for weeks. But when I left the theater that night, I was really disappointed. The whole movie was based on a trial in which Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, was accused of ‘taking the idea about facebook and about how he screwed his friend. Sure there was some funny elements, but it was not enough. And why were Justin Timberlake in the movie? He was not good at all as a actor. He should stick to his music. I usually love reality-based movies. But this I couldn’t understand. He just sat their in a chair and was overbearing when he was questioned. I think they made this film entirely just to make money. It is never wrong to make some extra money. I would also do the same thing if I were in their shoes. The only good movie with this movie was Jesse Eisenberg, who plays Zuckerberg. I adore him. He plays really well, both in this movie and others that he has been in. He is doing his thing just that the script is written so damn boring.

Blogs impact on people

Blogging was something that hit it big for some years ago. I don’t think the first bloggers ever thought of that blogs would be so revolutionary that it is today. Bloggers have an equal impact on people as newspapers, radio and television have. They reach out to everyone of all ages.

In Sweden, there are a lot of great bloggers. These affect many young people in both good and bad ways. Some of them are real role modeles. They are hard working people, or are they? Who hard can it be to post five new posts a day? Idon’t know about that but it dosn’t sounds as hard as other jobs like a doctor, cleaner and teacher. One should not underestimate these teenage girls who earn $28000 in a month only on their ads in the blog. Meen while they are doing other jobs lite some small cloths collections, television assignments and some modeling. They make more money in a month then most people in Sweden do in a year. It’s sick. All credits to them.

it also has its drawbacks. Those who read blogs are in their teens and impressionable. They want to be and look like these new “stars”. One of the biggest in Sweden will are operated from head to toe. The breasts, nose, lips, you name it. Then she always offers tips on diet and drugs she takes for her to be slimmer that is definitely something you’ll shouldn’t read about when they are 14 years old. But I think its up to the parents to take care of that. Its not the bloggers fault if people want to copy them. They are just people too.

Sweden’s biggest blogger right now

Who is it that decide how and what we should dress ourselves in and how we should look like and what is perfect? Celebrities and particular the media plays a large role in it all. Celebrities appear daily in various magazine and gossip magazines. We can read about what they wear, where they train and where they like to go when they’ll eat. All this we “ordinary” people get access to. We admire them, we want to be them. But why? Is it because they are so perfect? But what is perfect? Nothing is perfect. We’re all unique. You’re not hotter just because you are a size 2 rather than a size 10. Its how you were it and what you’re doing with what you have.

Long have the people fought against size zero on the runways. Media have been on strike, made lists of names and it does appear that they have succeeded. It can be seen today several fashion shows with normal built models on the catwalk. Media’s impact on the things scare me. For a couple of decades in Sweden, they said in the radio that you could get colorcast if you put a nylon stocking over the tv. People went on it? Yes of course. We can laugh about it now but we’re just as stupid today as we were back then. We do everything the celebrities do and that thanks to media.
